Automatic EPS quick mold change system
ALESSIO's QMC concept combines hydraulic mold locking with quick connections for material supply and related mold services to shorten mold changeover and production restart.
What the QMC system is designed to change
Conventional mold changeover can require substantial manual work and machine downtime. ALESSIO's QMC approach is designed around a pre-prepared mold, hydraulic locking and quick connection of material supply and piping so the machine can return to production faster.

Quick connections are used for material supply and related mold services to reduce manual reconnection work.
Target
Approximately 2–5 minutes
ALESSIO's existing product materials state an approximately 2–5 minute changeover / restart target for a prepared mold.
Why shorter mold changeover matters
For factories running multiple products or frequent SKU changes, reducing changeover time can help recover productive machine time and reduce the labor associated with manual mold replacement.
Important: actual changeover time depends on machine configuration, mold preparation and site conditions. The 2–5 minute figure above is the target stated in ALESSIO's existing product materials.
